Don't ya hate it when life gets in the way of fun? My '73 GMC project had been coming along, thought I'd have it going again by late summer. Then...
I had to have some electrical work (like ALOT of electrical work) done to my 110 year old house. OK, I can still get work done on the motorhome, just slow the spending a little. Then...
discovered a fairly significant roof failure. I had not noticed any leaking - yet- but it was a matter of not much time. Further inspection showed other areas of the roof where getting weak.
OK, that's that. The GMC is officially on hold, however this will give me a chance to, with the guidance of this forum, plan for an even better motorhome when I can afford to get back to it (next year?)
Not going anywhere - stay tuned.
Cheers,
Shane

Yes. Sorry, that wasn't very clear, but yeah the old house is needing a bit of help. But I have no intention of giving up on the GMC, just delaying the work a bit.
Electrician is coming tomorrow morning to start that part. Trying to get roof estimates and get that going as soon as possible. Not sure how the roof got so bad without me noticing before. Oh well, it'll get fixed now.
One thing I can keep doing on the GMC tho is cleaning, derusting, painting and whatever else that doesn't require too much money, so that is what I am going to do.
Cheers.

I'm making Omar the Oakwood Tree Expert rich. He took a dead pine off the wires yesterday. Back next week for a dozen more - all dead or dying infested with pine beetles. Sigh.
