[GMCnet] LED Clearance light replacement [message #355905] Sat, 20 June 2020 12:48

Thom,
Am a newbie here and such a timely message.

One of my many projects on the rig is replacing my clearance lights with LED's and using new gaskets, curtesy Jim K and Nick.

On Amazon, I was just checking the Hillman Group 59122 6-32 short jack SS nuts. So all I do is drill the hole, use Permatex Nickel anti-seize and use SS 6-32 1” phillips-head, oval-headed machine screws and assemble? Yes, am doing the wiring as well before I attach. LOL! Getting the PO’s extra sealant off the skin will be the biggest headache (but it didn’t leak!!).

Thank you again for a timely message and thank you all for your assistance in my renovation of the “AL Falcon.”

Virgil
You may see the rig on gmcmh using VPEARCE
