Whoo, got a couple of 4x4 and a come along between the kitchen window and entry door. Crank it down pretty tight, kinda worried something will snap.
It has moved it in some but not all the way. Any suggestions guys? Is this a gradual step by step re-correction of the door jamb shape?

Thanks
Tom

It is supposed to bring the outside shell in to conform to the refrig
cabinet.
Emery has a write up somewhere on this.

Yep, have read thru Emery’s write up on it. I just am not seeing alot of movement of the frame to close the gap yet. Just wondered if anyone had any pointer on the squeezing part? The setup I have follows Emery’s directions. Got the come along ratcheted down pretty tight now. Is it a leave for a day and come back and click a couple more teeth, then leave for another day and click a couple more??

Thanks,
TG

Not only are you pulling in the side but you are also lifting the roof and whatever is on it, such as an air conditioner. I have done a few of these and just pumped the come-a-long until it was in as far as I wanted. I don’t think you can break anything.

Thank Emery, appreciate you responding. I’ll keep ratcheting the come along till I get the gap closed.
