Have the Palm Beach in the shop needing manifolds replaced. My mechanic is having a heck of a time locating a pair of manifolds. Part numbers he found are: Right manifold #411970 Left manifold #407108.

Anyone have any suggestions as to where to locate a set of aftermarket manifolds or headers?

Also, needing the oil dipstick tube....

Jon,
Nothing wrong with a used manifold if it has been planed.
Does Cinnabar actually have cast manifolds for 455?
The problem is if the design cracks (like so many) there is usually no way to stop it.

Matt-

I have not personally bought or seen one in person from cinnebar with my own eyes. but I know of for sure 2 people in the midwest that has bought a manifold from cinnebar in the past 2 years. They claim thge manifold sure looked brand new and fit perfectly like a new part.

I did see a photo of the first one, and it looked brand new in the iphone photo. it was a 403 passenger side one that was a bit more rare to find used.

I have talked to a couple others that I believe went to cinnebar and bought one, as I never heard back from them.

Sirum GMC now has them on his website too, but I know my friend in iowa that bought one from cinnebar had it in like 2 days. allowed him to make it to his camping trip that weekend. He originally tried to weld it, but said it was too far gone for his welder to do anything with. this was probably late summer of 2018. I would guess that shipping out of florida would put a manifold in the midwest more like early next week.

still cheaper then what most pay for headers.

my personal opinion not shared my some, is that remflex gaskets as good as they seal, cause too much heat cycling on a manifold and those tend to be prone to cracking/warping. seems almost every bad manifold has 1 of 2 problems. 1st is neglect and has been leaking for years. 2. had been leaking, and could not seal it except with a remflex. then a few years later, it is leaking and cracked.

40 something years of pushing exhaust, I don't know of too many vehicles that do not have exhaust leak/issues. I know my old 455 the head face was erroded away from it leaking for many years before I had it and started tossing gaskets at it every 3000 miles.

Yes Cinnabar had them reproduced. I have not seen in person, but comebacks are not a good business model, so they should be fine.
