Does anyone have a cross reference or modern part number for the AC hose assembly? The part manual says 702789...interchange says Golby.....but damn this has to be the same as used on something else?

Unless Jim K or Jim B have it in stock Golby’s is the only place that I have been able to get the correct hoses from.

Just looked and Jim K has it in his online catalog.

https://www.gmcrvparts.com/product-p/g7027892.htm

Just my experience

Their has to be something else that fits, they just didnt make this a one off part...no offence to Jim K, Jim B or Golby's as they provide parts and services that i really appreciate plus support when possible but at 270US plus 40% exchange and shipping..... Shocked

Rich,

I do not know what is available in Canada, but in the US there are companies that make up parts for A/C lines. If I want one (unfortunately the shop I used to use has closed), I would find an auto-A/C place and ask if they build lines. One that I got made for the back of a A6 to the condenser was not all that expensive. If you search on line, you might be able to buy individual parts and clamp it together on your own.

This is what I have done, since I ordered "exact fit" replacement hoses,
waited weeks for them to arrive only to discover that they had the
incorrect threads. No more! Not today! Nohow!. We have a company in Salem
called Motion and Flow. They take your old hoses from your hot little
hands, you take a seat on one of their counter stools and engage in banter
with anyone available, 10 minutes or so transpire, and Voila, the
technician appears from the shop with your brand spanking new, shiny
"ABSOLUTELY CORRECT, REPLACEMENT PARTS". NO drama, just hand the man your
plastic, sign on the line, and go finish your project.
I just used them earlier this week on some hydraulic fluid lines for
the bucket on my John Deere Tractor. Never any drama. If you do not think
that your research time spent on the internet, the waiting for parts,
sending them back, arguing about getting your credit back on your card, has
any monetary value, I have some Oceanfront property for sale in Utah if you
are interested.

Lanier Hydraulics. They can fab anythiing you give them to duplicate. Or the fittings and a piece of string how long you want the hose.

Absolutely NOT. I should have clarified my statement a bit. The mail order
brew-ha-ha that I was referring to was not a GMC but a 1961 Cadillac Coupe
deVille. It was a show car that I restored. Absolutely stock. It had the
exact same compressor that was used on the GMC's, but the hoses were
different than the Coaches. As far as I know, the hoses used in the coaches
are totally unique to the GMC motorhome. Jim K. is always my first choice
for anything GMC related. Sorry if I confused anyone.
