Southeast Michigan and Northern Ohio GMC Owners Network Lunch.
MAY NOT HAPPEN, what you choose to do is your choice.
I cannot promise we will be there at all.
I have been studying all the available information.
As of my last reading, there are about two dozen confirmed cases in all of Michigan.
While many have survived having the infection run its course, there are some cases that have not gone well. Most that have had a bad time were people with compromised immunity. If that describes you at all, I don't think you need my advice. The thing I find disquieting is that an individual can be contagious for as much as three days before being symptomatic.
Care to know more?
Wuhan Virus - this guy is credible and comprehensive. EVERYONE needs to see all of this long podcast in order to understand what we're all facing:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZFhjMQrVts
Am I believing the hype? Not really, but I just can't quickly imagine there would be a better place to disperse the virus than an international buffet.
I will be watching the situation before I try to set up another gathering of coaches in April. At this time, that may not be advised. Time will tell.
Now that you have read this, go wash your hands.

Better to avoid crowds as much as you can.
I feel that I will eventually get it, but hope I will be healthy so I need
only to fight the C virus.
The traffic is so great, it feels like Sunday AM.
This should become minor by mid April as Flu season dies down then.
People wanting parts should realize lot of them were coming from China and
the ports are not seeing ships arriving.
So purchase parts now.

Here's my take on this. We (humans) have been experiencing occasional
pandemics of one kind or another as long as there has been a record of
history made. As these things go, this one is mild as to its effects upon
normal, healthy folks. On one of our overseas visits, we visited a city
named Kutna Hora. It you want to see the results of a truly dangerous
plague, just Google that name. There were so many deaths from the"black
death" (which we now call the pneumonic plague), that they stacked up
corpses of the victims, and burned them. Later, they exhumed tens of
thousands of people, boiled their carcasses, reclaimed their skeleton
major parts, and made bizarre hanging sculptures from femurs and sculls.
Seeing that first hand was quite an eye opener for this old boy from
Mossyrock.
So, do I run out and buy 96 rolls of toilet paper? Not much chance of
that. Do i avoid crowds at Costco and Walmart, Hospitals, Doctors Offices,
Restaurants, etc? You bet your sweet Bippy we do. Wash our hands, sanitize
our grocery carts, etc. ORDINARY UNIVERSAL PRECAUTIONS apply here.
I worked for 25 years with a population of IV drug users, jail house
tattoo artists, male homosexuals, Hepatitis carriers, you name it. You bet
I apply universal precautions. Always have, will continue. Just use good
Common Sense out there.
