There are other sites offering GMC Motorhomes for sale, this is more about a piece of GMC MH History that is for sale. This 1973 Canyon Lands was built 11-14-72 the date of the FIRST production run, the second production GMC MH available to the public. That's right, November 1972!
I personally have NO financial interest in this coach, my sole purpose here is to find someone who has the interest and resources to purchase and properly restore this very early production GMC MH to as new condition when it came off the production line.
An ad with further details is available on the GMCMI "Motorhomes for sale" listing, https://www.gmcmi.com/motorhomes-for-sale/
As noted in the ad, the tires have aged out so it should be trailered for any distance.
Please spread the word of its availability, it would be a shame to see it disappear, be modified from the original design, or end up with its historical importance lost. Thanks for your interest.

Clarification needed, I had a problem in signing on with my old name, bryant374 (Bill Bryant) so I am using a new name GMC.bill.
Now to the question of the TZE number for 1973 GMC MH that was the second production coach sold to the public. This has been stated before but here it goes again. The first 20 production (TZE) coaches (#0001 to 0020) were used by GMC for testing and other certification purposes, when those purposes were completed they were scrapped. Therefore number TZE063V100021 was the first production GMC MH sold to the public and TZE063V100022 was the second.
The Service Parts Identification glove box sticker is also an important item to define a GMC MH, there were differences over the production years as to the information it contained. The 1973 TZE sequence number was blank until ~V100500 then it was typed in, at about V1002200 the number was printed with the rest of the sticker. Starting in 1975 the GMC model name was printed as part of the sticker description, for 1973-74 we only had the exterior paint color identified.
I do have a photo of the TZE tag as well as the glove box sticker for 0022, don't know how to post it here and if you are genuinely interested in this GMC please ask the owner for more details.
Check it out,
Bill

Bill -
Go to Control Panel and from there go to Account Settings. Put Bill Bryant in the Alias line and at least those of us on the Forum will know it's you.
