Thanks Deb. Looks good. Can't say for sure, but it could be the B.C. rally
of the Cascaders on Vancouver Island a couple of years ago. Someone else
might know better than I, it was about the time I had my heart surgery, and
I missed it.

I was there - a reasonably small turnout (12 or 13 coaches? Ferry costs affect people on & off the island!). My notes have it as August 21-24, 2014...
Fort Victoria RV Park is not a great venue - but relatively close in. I can ride my bike there in about 20 minutes!

David,
I'm pretty sure the rally wasn't going on while we were on Vancouver Island
-- I surely would remember that double-decker tour bus! But you DID lend
us your car while we were there around that time -- probably July 2013.
Thanks again for your generosity!
Wish we could make that 'round the country GMC tour again, but I'm afraid
no trips of that length are in the cards these days. Our health would
permit it, but not our (especially HER) patience with the 23' quarters and
the long daily rides. :-)
A "fond" memory of that trip is the dislodging of the input shaft seal on
the power steering box and the consequent loss of all fluid. It happened
on the way to Butchart Gardens. I wound up having to drive from there back
to Victoria with NO power steering. From there we caught the ferry to Port
Angeles, WA, where we'd left the GMC in Greg Birch's dental office parking
lot. Then I drove the 80 miles, still with no power assist, to Bremerton,
where we caught the ferry to Seattle. Sully let us park in the back lot at
his body shop until I could take the steering box to Red Hat for overhaul.
It's still working great.
LOTS more adventures on that and other trips, most resulting in contact
with such great GMCers! Thanks to all of you for such wonderful memories!
