Had it at the Muscle Car Corvette Nationals last week. A huge indoor show. Had a counter at the door. 3473 people toured it. And had some of my COPO Yenkos delivered there also. The GMC was a big hit. In the past I've had GMCMI show boards/banners up. Didn't get that part of the display up this year. Would have been nice to have got that done.

Bob, don't know where the "R" came from. Guess my android phone decided you
needed a name change. Sorry about that.

Someone asked about the show. In a privet e-mail. As to the numbers of spectators, cars on display, and what's the nature of this event. I was told that just over 63,000 spectators showed up. At $35 each. The 3473 was the number that went inside our 78 Royale. Have show photos if interested. I got the GMC, and Yenkos to Chicago on Wed. Came home on Mon. It's the biggest indoor show in North America. This year. There were 462 cars. From 39 states that were on display. It's a by invitation only show. You apply to enter. I know of car owners that have been applying to get in for years. The cars that get in. Need to be rare, high dollar cars. You have to have documentation that it a true example of what it is. No clones. As to how a 78 GMC Royale got in a show like this. The Yenkos that I race/show. Are extremely rare. High dollar. 6 figure cars each. And yes. I'm crazy for racing these at high speed events. I'm not big into shows. Been getting invited, and participated for years. About 7 years ago. I was asked to attend. But just wasn't in the mood. So I said no. My 69 Goodyear tire test Yenko was the only one built in 69. They wanted it there that year for a special display. So I told them. That I'd bring the 69 Yenko. If they'd have the GMC in the show. Very reluctantly they said yes. It's been a big attraction ever since. And yes. The bottom gets detailed. I know of 6 GMC's that have been bought because of my showing it at this show. And thank you for the comments. Bob Dunahugh
