Ladies and gentlemen,

Does anyone know of a way to install new Gen2 rear window latches without the removal of the windows? I can not get the nuts which are between the glass from spinning and the new bushings do not fit between the panes.

If I have to remove the glass is there an easy way to do so?

Thanks in advance,
Tom

I used a cork pad i had lying around the garage, a rubber pad would have worked better.
I opened the windows slightly, slide the pad between and put pressure on the window latch.
The pad kept the nuts from turning.

I then opened the windows to where the latch would be in the middle of the fixed window and was able to get the new pieces in.
Then slide it back to the center bar for support and put the pad between them to keep the new parts from turning.
