This Video is called Where RV's Go To Die
It is a salvage yard where RV's that have been damaged, had an accident because dated tires failed, fires, etc, are taken and stripped for parts.

FIRE
Here are some examples of fire damages, motor fires, generator fires, refrigerator damages, heater damages, and shows how the fire may expand inside a enclosed space.

Motor damage, though most of these are rear engine units, the fire goes through them similarly as they would go through a GMC. This is also including the Generator fires.

TIRES GETTING OLD
The comment was that some of the tires get dated or expire a working age, they suggest 6 to 7 years, and the tire simply fails, and causes the accident.

The result of the Fires, or the tires blowing out or the general body being torn apart from an accident is evident in the video.
If you feel this has nothing to do with GMC motor homes, please move to the next message. I felt it may have something to learn about for us so I am posting it for educational purposes.

Thanks for sharing.

I spend enough time at the “Mens Mall” to know that the huge number of RV fires is remarkable.

Could you imagine seeing that number of fires at the local pick a part?

The shots from the absorption fridge fire were scary as well.

Once again, tires were cited as a real problem for loss of control accidents.

I'm often surprised that folks will say their RV tires are only 4-5 years old. I have always changed at 5 years not only my RVs but my utility trailers and trucks as well. It's just not worth the risk keeping them after 4 years. Especially here in the south east. The only exception are the low profile tires for cars, from what I've learned they last a little longer do to smaller sidewalls. Of course that never happens at my home because my wife usually wears them out in three years 😏

My ex went through tires like popcorn. She couldn't miss a pothole.
Couldn't keep her foot off the clutch pedal, so i changed them on everything she drove. Now see buys automatics. I'm not there to fix em.

Buy the best tires and brakes. Cheep ones can kill you.

Cover tires where the sun shines and they will last a long time more than 4 or 5 years.

Roy, half a million is cheap. One guy who stewards with us bought a secondhand Prevost for 350 Large. He got a deal, it sold originally for a million seven.

Yeah Prevost builds ,Newell 's and a couple others can easily top a million. I did see at least one Prevost probably by country coach in that yard.
