Hello All,
New owner of a 76 palm Beach
.at least that's what it says in the glove box.
I need a stock master cylinder. Does anyone have the correct part number. The one that's on it looks in.
It has an square aluminum reservoir.its a bit too tall and very difficult to remove the cover.
Thanks in advance.

Before you change over to the origional, you need to figure out what brake
system are there, then we can advise you as to if the origional is best or
not.

You have the P-30 unit, not a wrong, but not the stock.

Do you have a name, a year for your GMC and a location?

Thank everyone for their quick response I plan on changing everything from the master back. lines calipers the whole thing the coach has been sitting for a while and it's my preference to put it back together factory at least I'm assuming these parts are still available

If I were gonna change it all including hard lines, I'd call Jimmy the K and ask for a package price. Compare that to the value of your time spent researching and chasing down parts and Applied is likely cheaper. You might want to buy the long pieces of hard line3 locally and let Applied sell you the bent pieces and connectors. It should save some on shipping. Ask them.

And, how's to fill out the sig portion of your login so we know who and where you are. This makes advice easier, there may be someone close to you who's alredy done it and can advise and we'll tell you which GMC club to join along with GMCMI And FMCA.

Airglades,

First and foremost, welcome to the group, family, cult, asylum....
Sorry for the late greeting, but things in my life have been a little strange for a while.

You found you way here, and that is very good. As Johnny already suggested, you are working the forum, so filling in a sigfile would a great thing to do.
To do this, go up to <Control Panel/Account Settings> and scroll down. You will see the place. Don't worry about the first one, but please do one that includes: Your real name, because we like to know who it is that we are trying to help. A short bit about the coach and include any major mods as, A - They are not nearly all the same, B - Somethings matter a lot. And a geographic reference is nice. There may be someone close by or coming through that can be of help.

About master cylinders, but cautious. The aftermarket that are most available have mounting ears that are way too thick and there is less than recommended thread engagement on the studs that hold it to the booster. I don't know where you are (remember the sigfile), but if you can get to an International or other major gathering that includes Dave Lenzi, get there.

Be ready, this is a community of helping and supportive people that may astonish you. The level of that help can be truly amazing. Stories abound (and some of them are mine) and they are all true. Yes, we have an agenda here.... We want you to enjoy both the community and what your coach can do for you as much as we know it can. You see, that coach is more than just a big new toy, it connects you to this community. There is is the real treasure. The only other community that I know of that is like this is that of the watermen that are my world. For that reason, I like to greet new owners here much as we greet a new owner/vessel there so,

May the Good Lord bless this coach and all those that set forth within her.

Welcome Airglades (aka??)

Matt - with the coach set above ride height for a while.
