For the record, Summit is now reporting that they will ship the 55-21118H water pump by the end of May.

I’m not holding my breath.

I just received an email from Cardone saying “they don’t know” when the unit will be available.

My message from Summit says 6/3/2019. Try the Carquest T3086. It's a re-boxed Cardone according to Carquest's parent company, Advanced, and has the correct bearing number stamped on the fan end of the shaft. I just installed the Carquest and it does move water. Time will tell.

Careful with those -- they may or may not be the same. I got a T3086
and it was definitely not made by Cardone. It had different bearings, a
smaller impeller, and had molded cast iron hose nipples (instead of
sleeved inserts). There are a bunch of pictures up here for comparison
purposes:

I stopped by Advance tonight. Three stores in the area had the T3086 in stock. We called and asked them to check in the box, and all three had cast iron pipe nipples, so they definitely aren’t Cardone around here at least.

I grabbed one in February as I had expiring rewards bucks so it only cost me like $8...

That’s consistent with my experience.

I’ll wait. It’s a spare.

I looked on Rock Auto, they show different several brands available, including AC Delco and Cardone, some say "W/o AC" - what's the difference?
