Hello,
We are going from Gulf Shores Alabama to topsail state park just east of Destin.
It appears the 292 to the 98 is the shortest route, but could be a traffic nightmare. Where heading north to the 10 then head east might be the easiest.
Any advice?
Thanks, Scott.

98 was just fine for us 6 weeks ago. We loved it! Twice! :-)

Scott,

We arrived in Rosemary Beach this afternoon to spend 10 days with family
celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary. We're only a block off of
Rt.30. If you head this way give me a call and stop by: (229) nine

We've been going to Destin for 45 years. When we first got our GMC we discovered Topsail and now that is our destination. We'll be there in early August. Normally we like to go in late spring before it gets HOT!

Another place in the Florida panhandle that we have stayed often is Myron B. Hodge City Park in Sopchoppy Florida. For us it has been a good launching pad to visit Wakulla Springs, Alligator Point, many other state parks in the area along with visits to Tallahassee. They have Electric and water sites on the river, and some full hookup sites. Price was $15/night. Until this year, we were often the only ones in the park. But hurricane Michael took out a lot of RV parks in the Mexico Beach area, leading to the discovery by many of Myron B. Hodge City Park. More campers, but still the same price. JFWIW.

Kerry,
Do you guys have a favorite spot at topsail hill? We like the Palm circle area. Currently in spot 166. Nice and secluded in the Palm circle area.
And we will be gone at the end of the month when all the spring breakers will be here!
Scott.
