I have noticed when driving while holding the steering wheel, I am feeling road bumps (hard to describe)through the steering wheel. I think this is a new thing. It reminds me of something I experienced with Dad's cars, ambulances, hearses etc. that we had in the seventies that I remember experiencing. AS usual, I am mechanically challenged but wondering if there is something loose that nees tightening or replacing. Thanks for responding

Scott - me too. Can't say that im the right one to judge if this is normal.
I do not believe it is. The question i have is if it is above, or below the
steering box? Maybe both? I've been under the coach applying pressure to
the ball joints and suspension looking for something that may be the cause.
I believe the only semi-questionable ball joint i found, is the one found
on the bar coming out of the steering box. My apologies for not knowing the
name. I was going to replace it this spring.
FWIW, i had a very specific clunk as well, as i would turn into gas station
entrances, etc. This turned out to be a loose sway bar mount.

I had that same issue. it was the slip joint between the steering box and the steering column. It is supposed to slide and mine didn't. going over a but causes frame flex and the steering wheel gets hammered.

Apply lubrication, or reach out to vendors? I recall seeing a quantity
rebuilt in Florida recently.

Grease the Spicer slip joint and lower U joint. If it has been frozen it may have wiped the lower column bearing Good news is easy to replace once intermediate shaft is out and not expensive. Be sure the coupler is fully seated on the column shaft so the clanp bolt goes over the cut relief. I think it was Eau Claire I was with Lenzi checking coaches any found 5 not fully homed intermediate shafts. Not safe.

We supply the ones Alex F does for us.
Make sure that the steering shaft lower bering is in place and is fairly
tite before replacing parts.
VERY important to understand the clocking on thes parts, as if you assemble
it wrong, you end up with a greater problem. Parts are parts, but if you
cannot get help on what to look out for before tackling the job, your
wasting your time.
Some things are not as silple as it looks.
