A local lady owner that is doing a major rework of her (late huband's) coach want to go to 6x16 wheels, but wants to keep the OE hubcaps. I never had this issue (I never had hubcaps) so I told here I would ask.
Can the 16.5 OE hubcaps be made to fit and stay on a 16" wheel? She did not say where she planned to get the new wheels.
Thanks
Matt

Nope. They just do not fit. I tried.
If anybody knows the secret, let me know.

Hi Matt.. 73-75 GMC one ton truck was available with 16 or 16.5 wheels. The hubcaps look the same. I dont know where you could find 7 of them but I have been looking.

Hi all,
It is not likely that the original GMC Coach 16.5” hubcaps would fit the Newer 16” rims as they have a different OD. The hubcaps for the 1ton and lighter trucks using the 16” wheel are center mounted and that area does not change.
