I have a 75 that has a had hot restart knock for 5 years (of active use) on a PO rebuilt motor that doesn't appear to have been up to spec from the beginning. I'm ready to sell one of my two coaches, and could be convinced of which one if there is a buyer. Before I put an engine in, if someone has a plan for a motor and interest in my coach, please contact me. Glenbrook with rear bed, wet bath, bunk bed/sofa and dinette. Major interior and outside paint rework in the 90's and I've refurbished/replaced most house and mechanical systems in the six years I've had it. Good thing about this "bad motor" coach is that you can test it all you want as it is, because it is still running great.
The other coach is a 78 Royale rear bath that I am just getting trip worthy. If someone is hankering for one of those, let's talk, this one is almost ready to use or sell.
I haven't listed either of these anywhere else yet, but, you asked Bob!

Just looking at the photos, without knowing about the cracked block, I'd
call $8000 outrageous -- even as a starting price for downward negotiations.

Ayup, me too. But since it was very close by I had to at least have a
look. And the pictures make it look better than it actually is.
