For those of you who have experienced cracks or breaks in your black ABS holding tank take a look at page 24 of the April 2019 issue of the FMCA magazine. It shows a product called Plasti-Mend that it says is a brush on compound of plastic solvents and resins formulated to make permanent repairs to ABS plastic holding tanks.
I have not tried it myself but if it works as advertised would be the first product that just might lengthen the life of our holding tanks, all of which are near or beyond the end of their useful life and very prone to cracking. I did use the epoxy based holding tank repair products with limited and short lived success and could not recommend them.
