Was it you, Bob D, that said he had a bore scope that hooked up to his smart phone? I thought it came from HF, but their cheapest one, they said, was around $75. Any info?

I have a USB one which I got from either Banggood or eBay, don't remember which. It has its own light source which is settable and a right angle adapter which screws onto it. It's about a quarter inch in diameter. Works great, was less than 30 scoots if memory serves. If I remember, tomorrow I'll get it out of the car and see who made it.

I have a "Genuine GM" fiber-optic scope. It has a very bright light, a
right angle prism, a 1/4" diameter head, and it has a adapter that allows
interfacing with a laptop or other digital devices. It cost a whole bunch
more than $30.00, although the prices have come down in the years since I
bought it. I originally purchased it to do powerhead inspections on big
outboard motors. Saves a whole bunch of labor on loose roller bearing lower
ends.

I have a Ryobi ES5000, but I haven't been able to figure out how to use it! I have the manual, but what happens does not agree with the manual.

I bought one on eBay and it's reasonable for the price I paid. With the exception of movable articulation, it provides a similar picture as the medical one at my veterinary clinic (that cost thousands).
