Yesterday was the 43rd birthday of our GMC motorhome according to records I received when I bought the coach over 21 years ago. It is hard to believe that we are in our 21st year of owning it.
In honor of the occasion we are currently in the process (concrete floor has been poured and roof trusses delivered yesterday) of giving it a heated space to live in.

I think Red sold quite a few Motorhomes. I know they were pretty active with selling parts after production stopped.

GMC Cruse wrote on Wed, 05 December 2018 13:32Glad to hear you finally got things worked out with the city for the new building. The Palm Beach will like being in there for the winter and so will you.
Working with our city to get a building permit has been a challenge since we had to get construction variance. Then getting all the other permits including soil erosion which included installing a mandatory silt fence and its ongoing inspections. Plus working to get the electric and cable relocated from overhead to underground and running a natural gas line from our meter (have to get a new one with more capacity) to the garage area is time consuming and expensive. I will be happy when we can move "the Motorhome" into its new home hopefully in January. It might have been cheaper and easier to move to a another house that already had a suitable garage. But then I would have to move over 40 years worth of "stuff".
