I have been drying in the top of the motorhome this weekend and replacing vent covers. The stove vent is a 3 inch metal pipe that has a coffee can over it where it comes out of the roof. Al the replacement vents seem to go out the side. What kind of cover do I need for this vent.

Sounds like a Previous Owner really jury Rigged that vent. I have never seen a 3 inch vent on the roof of an RV.

Myself I would look at converting back to a sidewall vent and seal up the roof opening. I hate putting holes in the roof. Seems to invite water in.

After thinking about it for a bit you could install a refrigerator roof vent over the 3 inch pipe. Not my choice but it should work.

There is no original side wall vent. Don't know if the hood was added. I think I will reroute it to the fridge vent and cover opening. Not using the fridge with propane.

Our '78 Royale Center Kitchen has the 3" pipe thru the upper cabinet and one of the same roof vents that are on the bath vent stack. It's original and works fine.
