We loved that 78 Royale. It took us to so many places. So much joy. It's been 3 years now. The small of smoke still bothers me. But to loose everything like so many in Calif. There's just is no way that I can imagine the pure pain of their loss. EVERYTHING.

It makes me more aware that we lost nothing in comparison. We were able to make another Royale more suitable for Linda. And absolutely every part ( except the 403. It will run again. ) that was under the floor, and hood of the burned GMC. Is back on the road. And under 5 other GMC's. Bob Dunahugh The Mouse House GMC

Possible causes?

It seems there more fires recently, but I don’t have any data to support that.

If it isn't the propane, it could very well be electrical and wiring.
Wiring and appliances don't age well at all. If restoring, consider
replacing wiring as well as appliances.

Ask car restorers, they'll tell you.
