So, everyone that wants to get a hold of us, we have dropped our land line ending with 7422. If we are in your contacts list, delete the 7422 number and use our cell phone numbers. We are in the GMCMI directory.

We are also getting rid our land line (actually VOIP but our original phone number). We've had it for over 40 years. No reason to keep it since 99% of our incoming calls are robocalls. At one time we had 4 wired land lines coming into our home and no robocalls.

As Bob Dylan once wrote "Times, they are a'changin' ".
Reading the Sunday business section in what passes for a sorry excuse
for a Newspaper, it says that DISH network lost over ONE MILLION customers
in the third quarter of 2018. Where have all the good times gone? Short
time passin'.

Where we are, even Verizon Cell is unreliable. When I had a repeater on the house it was better, I was thinking to replace it, but then I heard that 5G is coming and may well be a new band.
BUT, we still have the same land line, yes, now VOIP on it third carrier.
AND, with the help of a website called NOMOROBO.COM, we are no longer bother by most ROBO calls. The remaining problem is those that spoof local numbers. Nomorobo seems to miss them. So, if a call comes in without a name attached, we just ignore it. If they care, our own robot will take a message.
Things are better here now.
