Glad to hear Armand finally found the root cause of his issues with the Sprinter Van diesel engine. Perplexing why the first MB dealer he went to did not know about that factory bulletin and wanted to just start changing sensors to the tune of several thousand $$$. Good on Gene Fischer for knowing the right place to go who did know about it and could do a proper repair! Happy travels.

Yes Jerry, very fortunate Gene could give us that excellent Address.
That guy knew what he was doing and had done his home work.
The problem here in the USA, Mercedes dealers don't work on the vans or chassis-cabs, not MH's
They outsource that. And whilst that shop in Bend, was going to change all the parts they thought were involved, except the faulty wirering, nor would have cleaned the contacts. So failure was certain. At a very high cost !!
The guy in Florence, OR, knew about problems, similar, but wanted to be sure, checked the service bulletins and found out Mercedes already gave an update on this problem. Where the computer gets faultcodes, because of faulty wirering and or bad contacts.
The fix was they ordered the parts, Carol and Armand got them in Eugene and luckily the shop was able to install them.
Knock on wood .... but till now that Sprinter Diesel engine runs like a champ.
Even capable of keeping up with The Flying Dutchman, now .... LOL ...
