I am going to be replacing the battery cables on the PB next week. The fronts are no issue, but the one going to the rear end...Thats another story. It leaves the boost solenoid up front, heads under the radiator, comes up the other then disappears into the firewall in the left drivers corner, to go who knows where.

Has anyone here replaced that cable, and how did you chase it down?

Thanks!

There are very positive splice devices one can use so you don't need to
pull the cable

Shawn,

That cable was installed even before the insulation was sprayed inside the
walls. That means it's virtually impossible to remove, even with all the
wall covering removed down the left side of the coach. Generally, it's in
pretty good shape, having been secured and protected in that rigid foam.
It IS possible for the insulation to deteriorate and/or for it to be
damaged where the cable passes through holes in the vertical ribs. Most of
us don't bother to replace it through the protected areas, but, as JimK
suggested, replace the exposed and damaged section.

Those who choose to be more cautious generally put the new cable in a
protective covering and route in inside the left frame rail.

Good luck, it's a big (important) job however you choose to do it.
