Anybody got the probe which threads into the radiator for level sensing? Mine died and before I drill a bolt and make one, 'd like to see if there's one sitting on someone's shop bench they ain't gonna use.

I guess I have to ask the question, “Why would I want to put a used HW heater element in my HW heater when the replacement NEW elements area available at a very reasonable price”? Emery Stora posted on April 21, 2015 this information:
Quoted Message:
"You can find the parts at Home Depot and I even bought a thermostat at Ace Hardware once.
The original element is a 1000 watt 120 volts. This draws about 8.3 amps.
This is hard to find. You can find a 1500 watt 120 volt at home depot but that draws 12.5 amps.
If you use a 4000 watt 240 volts this will draw 8.3 amps and put out exactly the same heat as a 1000 watt 120 volt.
It is also cheaper and easier to find.
The heating element inside the 240 volt element is more durable and less inclined to burn out.
I suggest that you buy an adapter to adapt from the 4 bolts that hold the original element to a threaded fitting that the newer style heating elements thread into.
This makes it much easier to install the heating element.
Home Depot should have those adapters.
You don’t have to remove the tank to do any of this.

They are available at Homedepot, Lowes, Ace Hardware and other location.
Just do a search for: “Water Heater Heating Element 1500”
Homedepot:
120VAC unit:
220VAC unit:
This is the one that you want from as listed in Emery’s email.
Ace Hardware:
I have used this and it works well!
Lowes:
120VAC unit:
220VAC unit:
You should alway check the element length to insure that you have purchased one that will fit into your HW tank.
If you have one of the older HW heaters in your coach that has the bolt in flange then you a not out of luck of installing one of these new screw in elements.
Homedepot unit:
You have lots of new options so investigate your needs.

I think he's looking for the radiator water level probe.

That could get ugly.
Had to fabricate something for a friends 1970’s Cadillac when he snapped it off during a radiator R&R.

I can make one if I have to... I've a couple of spare bolts the same size as the one I plugged the hole with. I can drill one longways and countersink each end. Then use a wire with heatshrink on and epoxy it in the bolt with high temp high iron epoxy. It's just way easier if there's one on someone's bench just sitting there. I'm tired of the red light.

We have new ones, as we throw away used ones.

If a 240 vac element's going to "last forever" on 120 vac, why NOT install
a FREE one and save even $1? :-)
No one's yet said whether these 13" or so long elements will fit.

Ken, I think the one I replaced was shorter than that. I took the old one to the trailer parts place - they mean housetrailers, but.. - and he pulled a couple off a nail in the wall. less than 20 bux. Might of been less'n ten.
