I haven’t been on the GMC net for many years and I have given my GMC to my son Jim and his family.
Jim is planning to take it on his first trip without me being there and he is asking if I have a before you leave home checklist. I had one from long ago and have no idea where it is now.
So my question is does anyone have a before you leave home checklist that you would be willing to share or can direct me to a source for a list?

I don't have a formal check list but things to do:
1. Check tire pressures.
2. Check ride height.
3. Check all fluid levels.
4. Check lights, especially sign and brake.
5. Carry extra oil, brake fluid.
6. Copy of the Black List, charged cell phone, cash and credit card.
7. Do not trust the gas gauge. Fill up at least every 250 miles.
Relax and enjoy the journey.

Bill,
Please stress that he always do the complete walk around.
Check what is inside all the hatches and then that the hatches are securely latched. This will save a lot of possible damage.
