I am still working on it when time is available...seen my new house batteries are bad after 10+ years...only used them to test things on the MH. in the shop...so put new one in again...but I digress....my friend is going to NY city.in late sept...specifically Yonkers...to be a mate on the "Clearwater"...pete seegers boat, used as a education camp on environmentally friendly topics. My question...Where is a CHEAP place to camp and use water taxi or ferry to get around?..Mueller and others talked about this in the past...my friend is a Vietnam vet if there are discounts or places that discount or must be ex military....tkx. Brian...77 ele 455 that I can not seem to finish or use....

Not really cheap, but the least expensive:

https://www.libertyharborrv.com

Stayed there, liked the proximity, and it was fairly clean and quiet.

Closest military campgrounds are near West Point, some 50 miles from the city.

From my co worker....

There is a county park north of here on the Hudson River called Croton Point Park. There is a section just for RV's, and it usually has many parked there regardless of the season.
