Can anyone help direct me to be able to find a USED set of 410 ratio gear set or final drive unit, or maybe a salvage yard that may be able to help?

Why do you want a used set of final drive gears?
If I went to the trouble of changing out the assembly, I would use
the best thing I could get my hands on.
Don't apply false economy to mechanical repairs, your coach and
Murphy will conspire to leave you alongside the road, at night, in the
rain, with semi trucks flying by so close that the wind rocks your coach.

You might get lucky and find a used final drive with the 3:70 or 4:10 ratio, but it won’t be cheap. Used FDs with the 3:55, 3:70,or 4:10 ratio in useable condition can sell for over $1000, while new are a fair bit more.
To find a used high ratio FD, you’ll have to keep a very close watch on all the various GMC Motorhome for-sale listings that exist across the web. Parts like these will sell quickly if the the price is fair.
There are many GMC related lists of stuff for sale. Start searching all the clubs, groups, forums, Facebook groups, etc. Even some of the suppliers have lists of used parts that they offer for sale. You WON’T find it all listed in one place. Often the good stuff sells by word-of-mouth before making it to a list, so many phone calls might be in order to find your parts.
Good luck with your search.

If you need help to locate a used one, posting it here is a good start.

One option would be to combine the transmission chain ratio change with
say, a 3:70, that might be a more achievable salvage find to get shorter
gearing.

For starters, the gears won't go in the case. You have to expand it a bit. Etc. Listen to Dunahugh, he knows whereof he speaks. Either get a power dive chain set from Manny if he still has any and pair it with a 3.7 or put more motor in and build it for a lower engine speed. Meantimes, tell us who you are and where - there may well be someone relative close to help.

Like any rear end, you need a spreader. Does not make any differencce as to
ratio.
All our gears work like the stock.
Setting up the ring and pinion is not that hard, just triccky if you want a
quiet unit.

Here's a suggestion for you. Several years ago I found some info on the net
where a guy turned the engine and tranny around, converted the tranny to an
open driveshaft, using RWD car parts. Then he used a FWD axle assembly.
This got everything turning in the right direction.
Cheaper deal and a good selection of gear ratios. To really go big time,
since it's a FWD axle, cut the axle tubes and rotate them 90 degrees,
weld them back together and you now have adjustable camber using the tie
rods as adjusters.
That's my contribution to keeping you out in the garage for a while.

There you go thinking about it. DON'T. GRIN. The case has to be bent by a special spreader. There's just no room in there. I did it in 2004. I'm sorry. I let those bad memories die years ago. And what's left of those memories have made me enjoy messing with my 4 original COPO Yenko's even more. Bob Dunahugh

Do not try to get the gear set. Then have you, or someone else install them in the case. PROMISE. Been there. Done that. I've installed a lot of gear sets in about everything. I will NEVER do that EVER again in one of these cases. Don't even think about it. EVER. Bob Dunahugh
