Our oil pans require a different pickup then a rear wheel drive 403, or 455. James was 100% correct that you can install your old one. If it's PERFECTLY CLEAN. The screen tube is a press fit to the pump. I tack weld it for safety. A sealant isn't required. And isn't a good idea. Bob Dunahugh

If you aquire a new pump and pick up tube, always trial fit it as we have
run into wrong parts from our suppliers.
