I have a 75 Avion with issues getting fuel to the generator. I can blow air
through the line and hear it blow into the main tank but if I suck, it
creates a vacuum. There must be a one way valve there installed backwards.
Any thoughts???? And I am not talking about the electric valve by the fuel
pump. I am at the fuel line just before that.

I have not seen this before but what about the possibility of the fuel line coming apart inside and acting line a check valve. I know we have seen this many times with brake lines.

What Ken said. Also, a crak in the line can do this.
