I had one in my '73-23' Glacier. I think it may be wired "in case the model
has a vent" there. All manufacturers made common wiring kits up to install.
My wife loved that outlet as it let her stand outside the bathroom and dry
her hair with a blow dryer.
2nd Request. Can anyone tell me how to turn on the light inside the shower
in a '75-26' Avion? And in mine, at least, it is NOT a double switch on the
bathroom light. Rob? Bdub?

No it’s not for a vent or rear air conditioner. As I posted earlier it’s for use in the bathroom without having an outlet in the bathroom exposed to a water from the shower.
There usually is 120 v line provided for a rear air. The line is under the ceiling panel near the vent opening.
