Up until now, I didn't realize there are different size waste outlets. The bayonet fitting on the inlet of the FloJet is much smaller than the bayonet on the coach.
I couldn't find an adapter via and online search.
Have others run into this?

Dan,
Call Flojet directly, the tech people there are very good and friendly. You need the 3inch adapter. You can see what im talking about if you google Flojet portable macerator. Flojet will also tell you where to get one at the cheapest price.

If you use a 3" one, you will only dump half the tank as it will cavitate
at that point. That is why the people in the know use the small inlet and
use an off set reducer to draw out the lower 1/3 . Even that is not enough,
so we now have a unit made for us by Lyn Clark that will pull down to the
1/4- 1/8 of the tank.
Call me and I'll assist you if you want.

Dan,
There are two problems here.
One is that some coaches (SOB) have a 3" dump. Rare, but it happens.
The other is that you may still have the Thetford (white) bayonet on the dump pipe.
If it is the Thetford, the now more common Valterra fitting will be about 1/4' too small.
If you need to see parts, come on by. I do have some of them both here.
I gave you a coach card, didn't I?

Thank you all for the information.
I could not find the adaptor I need via a Google search. So, I will call later.
Matt, I do not recall getting a coach card from you.
I emailed, to your gmail address, pictures of the cap and bayonet on my coach.

Dan,
I got your pictures.
I know that the adapter you need cannot be purchased.
Trying to locate a Thetford bayonet may be a bit of a hunt, but Valterra flanges are everywhere.
Do not try to order the bayonet from Thetford in A2. When they get your order, they hold it for three days before shipping it and you can't walk in there with cash.
Just get the two and if you can't glue them together with some universal plumbing glue because parts don't fit, my lathe can make them fit.
Or, use a short piece of hose between.
I am not scheduling lunches between now and October because we will (hopefully) be traveling all summer.

I am going to cut the pipe right before the Thetford bayonet.
Glue a new Valterra 3" ABS-to-bayonet on the pipe.
Connect the FloJet directly to the Valterra bayonet.
My coach has a swivel in the pipe from the valve to the outlet behind the bumper. So, draining the entire tank should not be a problem.
I ordered a clear Valterra cap to reduce surprises from the other side . . .
Thank you again for pointing me in the correct direction!

A short chunk of automotive hose as an adapter is cheap and easily reversed
if it does not work.
