As we are most all FMCA members, there is a FHU campground for us in Cincinnati that you should know about.
If you are going north or south on I-75 it is a great stop for the night. It was always hit or miss and I would have to call the FMCA office to find out if there was a board meeting (there is no space then).

Well, you can now reserve a slip (site or whatever) on line at:
https://site.fmca.com/stay-fmca

I followed the link and noticed that it mentions in red type:

"Note: After your reservation has been booked and paid for, canceling your reservation will incur a $5 fee."

I wondered to myself if they were now charging to stay.

Since I have used the "free campground" in the past I called FMCA to clarify things in my mind.

I was told that you can stay 2 nights/month as part of the membership for free. After that, it is $20/night for up to 7 nights. Also, if you book a spot and don't show up, they will charge the member $5. I think that is reasonable because after all, if you don't show up another member might not be able to camp there because you have it booked.

Matt, thanks for the heads-up on that benefit.
