The GMC appears to be a Cinnabar restoration. I thought I remembered seeing photos before.

Ken,

From my viewpoint those SOVs (some other vehicles) are the ones that are in the fancy company!

Interesting that they say in the description of that GMC, "Forget expensive hotels for this year's Woodward Dream Cruise, motor on down in this restored Royale for an immersive experience.".

However, you can't do that anymore in a larger vehicle like our 26' GMC.

For reasons of security, vehicles weighting in excess of 10,000 lbs are not allowed on Woodward during the Woodward Dream Cruise.

http://www.theoaklandpress.com/general-news/20170804/oakland-county-sheriffs-office-to-prohibit-some-vehicles-during-woodward-dream-cruise

As a result, we no longer participate in the cruise even though we live only a few miles from Woodward. The GMC was an excellent way to see the sights. Driving an old car down Woodward is not fun compared to the view from the GMC which we did for about 15 years. Forget about parking next to Woodward. Unless you have a friend with a spot on Woodward that lets you park there, it can be quite expensive for motorhome parking.

Richard,

I am going to query the Sheriff's office and ask:
Can we as a group of antique/classic coaches drive the route in convoy?
Can I as a single coach that scales at 9460 drive the route?

I will post the answer.

Matt - We will miss both you and Craig next weekend.
