I pulled my coach out for first time this year to get tires on a dfferent spot and exercise things. Gen started up in 5 secs (I have no primer) and I decided to pull it out while warming up. Fuel leak on OE hose. Last hose that was never replaced. Ordered one from Applied. It came today. Do I install dry or use something on the threads? Manufactured braided assy pump to carb.

John,

My BF (4.0) has a pipe thread at the pump, and an SAE flare at the carburetor. The pipe thread needs something, I probably used teflon pipe thread sealant because I like that $tuff in spite of the cost. The SAE flare needs nothing.

I have not had trouble with Teflon tape and E-10. Just be sure to not tape the first turn of the thread so pieces don't get loose.

Teflon tape is OK and I also recommend the teflon pipe sealant.
