Good evening all, Got a shot at a 2000 auto 4x4 Chevy Tracker, just interested on some insite on these and how is the parts availibilty for them since it seems to be the towd of choice for a few folks. Any info or what to check on it would be greatly appreciated.

We have had a 2003 Tracker, 4X4/Automatic, (essentially the same vehicle) for several years now with only minor repairs made and no issues in terms of parts availability. The only thing I have noticed is that the parts are relatively expensive as are parts for several other imports.

99 4x4 auto vert here, use it once a week. Only issue has been a radiator leak

Short whellbase and high COG makes it a bit twitchy on the highway- takes a bit of getting used to. Milage isnt that good surprisingly
Good off road with the right tires

Hard top has been a worthwhile investment

Look for rust rot on the rear shock towers. Very common and a tough repair.
