Randy had come over the other day to install the EBL that Jim K had brought to the GMCMI event for me. Randy said that I needed to drill out the seal over the idle screw. Got that done yesterday. Randy came over this morning to get the idle dead on. Well, he had the injectors acting in a way that he had never seen happen before at idle. OK. The new EBL may have a problem. Jim K hadn't left yet. So Jim was kind enough to unload some crates to find the other EBL that he had brought along. Then brought over that EBL And Randy had pulled his EBL out of his GMC. What's happening. Is that at idle. Both injectors on my 454 TB are discharging at the same time. Not alternating discharge at idle. And this was happening with all the EBLs tried. So we went back to the ECM that got us here to start with. Any ideas out there in the peanut gallery? My thanks to Randy, and Jim K for a good strong effort. Came very close to perfection. Maybe a difference with the 454 throttle body? IIRC that is what you are using, right?

Yesterday morning. Randy came over on his way out of town with the solution to the problem with my EBL. Went to Phoenix yesterday. With temps in the upper 90’s. Drove to Flagstaff today. With temps again in the upper 90’s till we got up to 5000 feet. That Howell system ran both days to perfection. That 403 has never pulled hills like it did today. As to mileage. The numbers at the end will tell. I do know that we’ve gone just at 2000 miles on this tip so far. The mileage is up a lot. Thank you again to Randy for his help. And Jim K for his parts support.
