My friend has a GE Lighting dealership. The Nighhawk polycarbonate LEDs are considered top notch, but almost cost prohibitive. Granger has them at $565.50 each. If there is enough interest expressed here, I will have him do a large qty order to get the price down to something we can swallow. Roughly 2 lamps for below that Granger listed price for 1. Depending on interest for final pricing. They can then be ordered and shipped FedEx directly from his website and warehouse. . I could also bring to Elkhart for pickup w/o shipping charge. I have only posted this here and not on FB as an attempt to get a more accurate reading from our members. More details if response is good. Thanks.

John,

Doesn't sound like you're likely to beat this:

https://www.amazon.com/GE-NIGHTHAWK-Round-Replacement-Headlamp/dp/B00BQX2BT8

And no hassle for you.

Just for reference, grainger's pricing is generally about double retail unless you have an account. Not really the place to price shop Very Happy

If you like to drive at night, like I do, LED headlights make a huge difference over the old sealed beams. I paid almost $450 for a pair of "SYLVANIA ZEVO 7" Round Street Legal LED Headlights" (now can be had for less than $400) 2 years ago. I consider that purchase one of the best upgrades for my GMC. It also helps to properly aim your headlights. If you never drive your GMC at night, then it is wasted money.

That's why I have have Silverstar incandescants. Nighthawks are cost prohibitive to the average owner. BUT, Ken H has posted probably the lowest price out there. I will see if my friend can can beat that. Always worth a try. If he comes in below that, is there interest at that point?

Here's what is probably a silly question to ask without checking local auto parts stores, but are LED headlamps made to replace the rectangular sealed beam headlamps? A P.O. of my coach did that conversion. I know that Halogen versions are available to replace the old tungsten filament sealed beam lamps.

Yes, they are available. You may have to order them though. Both the sealed
beam type and LED conversion (think newer bulb) types are available.

Ok that's neat, but the ones I saw at an SAE convention did not have as nice at pattern as 30yo Cibie Z-Beams, but they are out of production too. I'll stick with my IQs until I have to do something.

Hi all.

Won't fit all but I've had halogen components lights I my coach for nearly 15 years. Two H4 LED lights bought through amazon for $25.99 each CDN. They Work great. Company i bought them from is Safego.

Reduced power draw from 55/60 watts to 20/20 watts each.
