Greetings !!
I've replaced my original style "Toll Windows" with the new Jim Bounds' style full sliders...
Anyone interested in the old ones ??
I can put them in the boxes from the new ones for shipping... If they're worth it.
PS. I'll probably take the spring clips off for use on my other sliding windows.

Mike,
I've had mine in for about 6 months now.
They are nice windows. The latch is poorly placed and makes them difficult to open and close. It needs to be centered in the window, but they put it about 1/3 of the way up so the window binds when opening and closing.
They also let zero air into the driver side, so if you want them for that windows down feeling, go ahead and skip this one.
Other than that they are great. High quality for sure.

I understand that the upper glass on the original windows are unobtanium so do not toss them out!

Mike,
The glass has an advanced material that blocks out rays that heat the
surface inside, so we notice it to be more comforable.
We also stock the updated lathes so oe can relocate the latch to where it
does ot catch as one opens or close the window.
W must have sold over 25-30 units so far.

Re: the Bounds windows
I also have a pair installed in the Moneypit. Justin, funny but compared to the old toll windows, I find that I am getting a reasonable amount of air coming in. Mind you, I do have Ragusa wind wings, but I found that with both "toll windows" open the wind wings were useless I was getting no breeze whatsoever in the cockpit. Just drove 500 miles in warmish weather and found that with just the driver Bounds window open I could turn the AC fan down to the lowest setting. I did have the Max Air at the back of the coach open and on extract, which perhaps helped suck air in.
Jim K, if you are looking for a project, it would be really great to have magnetic bug screen inserts available for the Bounds windows, so us boondockers who have to count on cross breezes to keep cool at night could leave these windows open. I believe you used to carry them for the toll windows.

Our new batch has the handle better centered, however should you want to
move it we can supply you the optional latch.

I've found that leaving the wind wings slightly loose, I could adjust them quite easily through the toll window.
Once adjusted - I had a HIUGE increase in air coming in. They are now acting like more of a "ram air" and scooping the air directly into the cockpit. Previously they acted like more of a no-draft vent window, with very little air flow.
Much more refreshing!

I think the windshield design of the GMC causes a huge low pressure area where the windows are.
Even with wind wings, you don't get much air unless you turn the wings out to catch a lot of air, then close the window until it's even with the wing. THEN you get a blast of air, but otherwise you get almost nothing.
