Emery,
If it's the driver side believe Bob is talking about:
Parts Book 78Z / Section 23 / Page 23-14 / Figure 23.026 - Panels and framing / Key 36 / PN 691615 - Panel - side, LH outer wheel
opening.
The passenger side is listed in Figure 23.05.
I believe that GMC used 3M Epoxy EC-2216 to glue the panels to the frame. I came to that conclusion when I removed a stringer that
was attached to the aluminum above the fridge vent. The epoxy was the same color as cured EC-2216 and when I heated it (using an
electric heat gun) it smelled the same as the epoxy used to glue parts of the Apollo backpack together.

an edge. But very usable. Got both off with no damage. So now I have a way to fit it perfectly. Have photos if anyone is

I wonder if the heat from the fire loosened the adhesive somewhat?

My experience was that to break the bond the epoxy had to be pretty hot when you tried to separate the parts.
