Thanks Justin and Johnny I did a quick search and it looks like the Cardone
38-165 I servo is $84 which all said and done is close to $100 where is a
new electronic one is $300 so maybe I just spring for the Rastra unit and
be done with it. what are the tweaks that Jim has are they worth it? and is
it a P.IT.A. to install ? yes mine was finicky also plus I do like the
bump up-and-down speed feature I have that in other vehicles.
Thanks

Ron,
You need to read the Rastra instruction and find out.
The late Duane Simmons set them up for the GMC MH and after he passed away
we continued the mods.Jim Bounds of Coop also has them pre worked.

I am not sure what Jim does, you'd have to call and ask.
You'll need to connect it to the throttle, and it comes with all hardware for that. And then flip some dip switches and bend the mounting bracket that they send you, but overall it was very simple if you're mechanically inclined.
The hardest part was getting my hands in the tiny spots to mount things.

My only problem with his method is the recommendation to mount the unit using a blind bolt under the carpet. If you never want to remove it, cool. If you do, though, it's a problem. I put another nut on an existing bolt which held the clip for the vacuum booster hose.
