Well, after spending a bit more time with Bruce Hart (Thanks Bruce!) we have narrowed down my problem to a slipped timing chain.
My current To Do list at my house is so long (major house renovations) that I am going to have to find a shop or mechanic to replace the chain for me. Bruce told me about a GMC truck shop in Greeley, Colorado, that has worked on our coaches in the past. Unfortunately, that is about 80 miles from here and the towing is going to be fairly expensive.
Does anyone know of a reputable place nearer to Denver that might be able to handle the job?
Thanks!

Robert, you can do this. First one I did took 1/2 day. Hardest thing is getting the water pump & ps off. You need a puller for balancer. Start crank out on tdc on exhaust stroke. This will put timing dots in center. Move cam to align.

Chuck,
Thanks for the advice!
I will see if I can get the coach towed to a location where I can work on it. Right now it is located in a weed covered yard with no power available, no roof, etc. Not the most conducive location to open an engine!

The timing chain job is not super difficult. Part of a weekend for me, But you have to take alot of stuff apart on the front of engine. Use straight edge to make sure dots are lined up.
Call me if you do try to diy, it was last summer and a few things still fresh on my mind.
Get aaa, or other good towing plan. you should have that anyhow. 80 mile tows should be no concern for pocketbook. Good luck and thanks for update.
