As always - Thank You for the wealth of information shared here.

I may have a deal on a 2000 VW Manual Transmission "New Beetle."

From a friend and neighbor, decent condition, and a perfect paint match to my yellow 23 footer. (455 with a 3.70 LS FD).

Any opinions or experiences to share ?? Preferred tow bar ?? Advice ??

Thanks again,

Steve W

I've pulled both Jetta and Golf's of that same vintage. All three are basically the same and tow well all 4 down. Some of the next generation did have occasional problems and needed a bungee to keep the wheels straight but mine never did.
