Hi everyone.

Looking For a Seat belt Extender to make it easier to reach down and grab it off the floor.

My ride '73 26" canyon land .. aka Mello Yello... I ordered one from Amazon but the buckle didn't fit...

Any suggestion on buckle model/ type links are appreciated..

Keep on Cruzin

Marc,

Some recent vehicles came with a sleeve around the retracting side so it didn't get sucked back to the floor level. You could do this by getting some thin wall pipe and heating and flattening it.

The one that did bug me was the outside belt. Those are a bear to retrieve from between the coach side and the seat. So, I tied nylon strings to both the I then connected to the side panels. This has been a good fix.

Attempt to get newer seat belt design from a 77 - 78 coach. They have a plastic extension with retractor that puts the seat belt much closer to your hand. No hunting on the floor for the belt. JWID.
