Going to attempt a roof pod repair.
Any idea what kind of plastic it could be? It is a carefree pod.

If the plastic is brittle and cracking I would get a gallon of fiberglass resin and fiberglass blanket. Cover the entire top cover with 2 layers of this stuff and it should be good for several more years.

$75 at harbor freight on a plastic welding kit and rods, the one with built in fan and thermostat. Anout 40 minutes and the pod is repaired
The lower section of this pod was cracked entirely in 1/2. It welded up extreamly easy and seems strong as can be now.
I welded in using the ppv rods. I tried. Burn test and it sure smelled like pvc, but the pvc rods did not weld well. The white rods seemed to work perfect. I did not use or try the abs rods.
Little sanding and some touch up
Paint and it should be good to go.
