I tried to run a search, but couldn't find anything specific. Does anyone know where I can get replacement Schrader Valves for original style air bags? Sean and Scott recommended replacing what is already there vs. upgrading just for the time being so we can properly diagnose the slow leak. I'm already ordering the rebuild kit for the control panel because the dials spin and don't really lock in place.

If you want the kit with inflator valves and shut-offs:

If you just want the inflators, Ace hardware has them (and probably lots of other hardware stores do too). 1/4" air valves are standard gizmos.

If you only are looking for a Schrader valve then get the ones A sent the
link to. If you need shut off and Schrader valves we sell them $85 for a
pair.

Vonda,

The schader and stop valve sets were never an OE part.

The "Schader" valve is just the valve like a tire valve stem. You might be able to buy those at a good hardware store, but they probably only have them in 1/8MPT and you will want 1/4.

If you want the whole set, shut-off, T and schader, it is unlikely that you will find it locally. You can buy the kit from a GMC supplier or try to pick all the parts out from the Mcmaster - Carr pages. That last is not recommended for anyone not very familiar with the parts.

ACE Hardware commonly carry them in both 1/8 NPT and 1/4 NPT.
They also carry the brass T fitting and I have seen the air shut off valves in my local ACE
but it probably is not carried in all ACE stores.

Thank you everyone. I had another GMCer recommend trying teflon putty prior to replacement because he feels the shut off valves on my coach are higher quality so it's likely a different issue. He also recommended I have the cores on the valves replaced prior to just replacing everything. I'm going to give those two ideas a shot. If it doesn't work, then I'll go with the links you recommended.

My control panel is also in need of repair as the dials for the air compressor are very loose. I'm working on getting the rebuild kit for that too.

Thanks again!
