Hi All..
I am sorry to flood the list with questions... But I am ready to start the Light Remodel full tilt!
I am probably going to add an auxiliary Evaporator for the A/C while I have everything out.. But my heater works no better than the A/C so I was wondering if anyone has added an auxiliary heater.. I have looked on line and was surprised at the lack of those kinds of units.. Maybe I am using the wrong terms.. They used to be available as little boxes with a blower installed.. Lots of them as I recall..
If you have what did you use and where did you put it..?
Any ideas or pictures would be most appreciated..

If Jim's sources don't work, I think I've seen the little heaters in the J.C. Whitney catalog/website as well. If Jim can fix you up, its always a good thing to support our vendors!
These heaters seem to be a seasonal item, and only shown in the fall and winter catalogs.
No reason that they shoudn't work, there is plenty of hot water available to heat the coils. There were some pictures on the photo site a while ago, but I don't have a link, sorry!

Roger..
Where did you get it? That one is neat as it could be mounted with a floor register..

Why not take the rear heat/AC from like an older R12 Suburban? Then you have the whole thing ready to go.

Hal..
We definitely felt them on our trip home from Rocky Mountain this past week..
It seemed like the A/C was on..
I will pull the side panels off when I remove the seat and see what I can find.
Do you know how to find Arches pictures.. I am a bit lost in the GMC Photo pages unless I am led by the hand!

If I recall, didn't Arch install a small unit under the front seat?
