Had a little road trip from Tampa area up 75 north of Gainsville to pick up metal roofing. Its that time of year when the snowbirds start flocking north.

Traffic was bad. Saw no less than 8 RVS on the side of the road, 5 were 5th wheels and 3 late model diesel pushers.

About half of the 5th wheels looked ot be tire related

Moral of the story? It isnt just the GMC community that has problems...and they dont have the Blacklist or the Jims or the support we have on here.

Oh, and next time, Ill just pay the delivery charge for the roofing.

Yes and the tires on a GMC aren't $600+ each like on a pusher plus road service as they don't carry a spare.

Most don't my friends 2007 43 ft American Eagle doesn't have a spare and those tires cost him more then $800 each a lot of money aging out unless you carry old spares

What with the weight and cost of Pusher tires, and the jack needed, most just call a service. I'm in pretty good health but I doubt I could wrestle one of my 265x70 22.5 tires and wheels on the studs by myself. And I don't want to haul around a jack stout enough to lift it and stable enough to hold everything still while the tire is manhandled off/on.

Plus, paying for an extra tire that will age out before it's used (more than likely) just doesn't make sense.

They (the tires) were used. :) I'm sure the owner wasn't made of money
either.
