Hi, all... I have a Howell fuel injection system I was putting together for my Royale, but ended up needing something "right now" and bought a Fitech system. That leaves me with an extra Howell system I don't need any more.

Some specifics....

It's the Howell H243-454, designed for a big block Chevy (but will work fine on a 455 or 403)
It's got a Rochester throttle body that looks to be in very good shape.
I've got a pair of 90 pound injectors, new in the box, that I'll include (just in case the ones in the throttle body aren't 100%)
Most all of the peripheral stuff is included: knock sensor, knock sensor computer, O2 sensor, ECM (GM 1228747, which allows timing control)
It also includes a distributor out of a mid-80's Oldsmobile, which plugs into the Howell harness directly.
I'll also throw in the adapter (from the Olds manifold to the Rochester throttle body)
But wait... there's more... Wink I can include a (Chinese) fuel pressure regulator too (won't need it for the Fitech install).

I'd really love to see this system "come to life" in a GMC, and I've done most of the scrounging to get all the bits and pieces to put it all together. If you're looking at doing a Howell install, this package will save you tons of time and money.

Looking to get $450, and will cover shipping for that.

Looks like the system is sold... going into a local GMC, so I hope to see it out there "being used in anger" soon!

Oops - looks like my Howell system is sold after all... when the (local) buyer was examining the system, we discovered that the "new" extra injectors I got with the system weren't really new. It appears that the previous owner installed the new injectors in the throttle body (the injectors are far too shiny to have been installed anything but very recently). Anyway, he was counting on those new injectors for his other coach (which already has a Howell system).

I should mention that I remembered that one of the bolts that holds down the ignition module inside the distributor seems to be stripped, but that will just require a new screw with slightly larger threads. I'll leave it as-is so you can make the determination as to the best screw option, rather than just putting one in myself.

So... since there's less included with the kit, I'm going to drop the delivered price of the system to $380. This should give you a huge head start to putting together your own fuel injection system.
